My opponent has continually misrepresented who I am and what I stand for. Voters have a right to know the truth.
I am pro-life. I answered one question differently than my opponent on the Right to Life questionnaire – I allow for an exception in the case of rape, incest or life of the mother. I always pray for and hope for life. However, in these horrific and often violent situations, I allow for an exception.
I will defend the 2nd Amendment. I am a strong defender of the 2nd Amendment and will fight against any new state laws that seek to limit our right to keep and bear arms. I also support the Jake Laird Law because I have worked with public safety and understand it is helpful in keeping guns out of the hands of nefarious criminals and those who intend to do harm – without limiting the freedoms of law abiding citizens.
I am a first-time candidate. I am not defined by a job title or elected position. I have always strived to give back to my community. I am running, because I believe in our state and I believe I have the experience and qualifications to make a real difference for our future.
I will be accountable to you, the voter. As Governor Mitch Daniels used to say, all I owe anyone who has contributed to my campaign is good government. I will always do what is right for the people, no matter what.
I believe in public service. My current job is VP of Public Affairs for a technology company where I help lead our policy development around cyber security. Prior to taking this role, I served as Deputy Mayor for the City of Fishers from 2015-2019. From 2011-2015, I worked for the Indiana Association of Cities & Towns where I worked with the communities of Greenfield, Fishers, Fortville, McCordsville and Lawrence to ensure the needs of those communities were represented at the Statehouse.
My opponent is misleading voters, not only about me, but also about his own record. He touts that he is a small business owner but he doesn’t tell you that he is a founding partner in a law firm that “specializes in criminal defense” for people accused and convicted of sex crimes, drug crimes, felonies and DUIs. The accused absolutely deserve legal defense. Voters also deserve to know that my opponent has intentionally hidden his occupation and source of income.
You can always expect truth and transparency from me. I will always lead by my principles and work hard for you.
As with any election, it will be determined by those who show up to vote. Let’s show up!
